Adjunct Faculty, Fashion Studies - SP23

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Adjunct Faculty instructors at College of DuPage are responsible for course planning and instruction in classroom, lab, or clinical settings, courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as, face-to-face, on-line, hybrid and/or blended formats. In addition, adjunct faculty are responsible for student evaluation, and timely and accurate submission of required paperwork related to instruction.

Required Qualifications:

Fashion Merchandising, Design, and Entrepreneurship

Fashion Studies at COD is an affordable, established program taught by a dynamic group of faculty. Together, we teach and mentor all students as they work to achieve their career goals. We are looking for faculty to join our team-teaching design, merchandising, and entrepreneurship classes.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the field or a combination of education, training, and tested experience required.
  • Industry experience in the subject you teach required.
  • Face-to-face instruction on campus required.

We are seeking applicants with:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Ai and Ps
  • Experience in Fashion promotion and Show Production
  • Fashion Illustration
  • Entrepreneurship

A plus:
  • Ability to teach a range of courses across multiple fashion subjects.
  • Awareness of current and emerging technology used in the fashion industry.
  • Connections to the current industry.

    Ability to teach remotely with technology and experience in online or virtual teaching preferred. Access to personal technology, home computer with appropriate ability to teach online required.

    These positions are paid by stipends for course assignments
